The Club was founded in 1933 and is now situated in an exceptionally attractive site only a short walk from the centre of Banstead village.
Our large modern clubhouse has a fully equipped open plan kitchen with a bar facility and lounge with television and table tennis. The spacious changing rooms include toilets, washbasins and showers.
Our disabled facilities include easy to use ramps that enable full access to all areas within the club grounds and clubhouse which also houses a separate disabled cloakroom.
Within the grounds, we have an extremely sizeable car park, BBQ and picnic area with seating and delightful outside viewing areas from where you can relax and soak up the scenery and on-court activities.
We have two Artificial Clay courts with LED floodlights and four floodlit Macadam hardcourts, all kept in excellent condition. We also have a separate mini-court with practice wall. With over 300 members of all playing standards and ages, we offer a wide range of membership options to suit every possible need.
For adult members there are various mix in social tennis sessions including mid-week morning, evening and weekend afternoons. Balls are provided with out charge for all playing sessions. For the match player we have an extensive range of playing opportunities from practice sessions, club tournaments and Inter club league team tennis.
Our junior section offers group coaching on Saturday mornings and mid-week during term times. There are various sections based on ability and age, starting from 3 years old.
We also hold a junior tennis afternoon alongside adult social tennis which is perfect for families to come down and enjoy their tennis together. There is also a full programme of both internal club and inter-club competitive tennis. We also hold various themed junior social events throughout the year.
There is unlimited access to the clubhouse and courts, provided they are not in use for official sessions or matches, they are there to be used.
